Here's why Paypal is giving you problems...

Tried to make a payment and got the "use another credit card" message? Here's why. For arcane security reasons, Paypal generally won't accept payments over $500.00 INTIALLY. However, after a sum of money has been deposited by the purchaser (you), all of a sudden Paypal gets more friendly. That's because now they know our account has a positive balance with them - it makes them feel all secure and squishy inside. So they'll let you make another payment. Generally, it seems, they will let you make larger payments as the balance builds. Say you've made two payments of $500.00 each; now Paypal will let you make a payment of $1,000.00. Pretty bizarre huh? We think so, so we're trolling for a new credit card processer. Until then, you'll have to make do, as will we.
