Mark
Addison is a musician, songwriter, producer/engineer and owner
of The Aerie Studio in Austin, Texas.
A keyboardist, guitarist and bassist, and self confessed studio
geek, Addison has 30 years of experience recording and producing
music. His recent credits include Love Songs For And Against by Guy
Forsyth, with whom he wrote the radio-ready single 'Long
Long Time' as well as four other tracks. Addison also produced
Irish singer-songwriter Mundy's Raining
Down Arrows, which debuted at #1 on the Irish charts and has
achieved platinum status there, as well as Maia Sharp's
first single I Need This To Be Love (Hardly Glamour, 1998)
and tracks on her follow up album (Tinderbox, 2002), Honeybrowne's
recent success Something to Believe In, Austin's acclaimed Summer
Wardrobe's debut CD and tracks for David Garza's A
Strange Mess of Flowers. He also co-produced, recorded and
mixed Bob Schneider's 'The Galaxy Kings'
(top-five at Waterloo records and top 100 at KGSR) and has produced
albums by Jeff Klein, Ian Moore, Will
Sexton and many others, as well as recorded Jeff
Klein's UK label debut 'Everybody Loves A Winner' and
the debut EP from The Honorary Title.
In the late 90's, Mark was the lead singer/guitarist for EMI/Guardian recording
artist The Borrowers; he is also a published songwriter with
cuts by Gene Simmons, Joan Baez, Cher, Paul
Thorn, Willy Porter, Hansen, Maia
Sharp, Kitty Gordon and others and the founder of the
Austin-based independent label India
Records.
